Windows 8 will integrate native virtual drive/hard drive function

In addition to drawing on the Ribbon UI of Office 2007, Windows 8
will also integrate more functions provided by previous third-party software —— just like the year Windows XP provides the same ZIP file management. Joining Windows 8
is the ability to load ISO and VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) files directly into Windows Explorer.
The existing Windows operating system version includes Windows 7, to load ISO and other image files, only Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% virtual optical drive software can be installed to manage images such as ISO. In Windows 8, everything is much simpler. Simply select an ISO file in the Explorer and select it in the Ribbon interface above and click the "Mount" button. Windows 8 will instantly create a virtual drive and load the ISO image, giving the user access to the files. When you click "Eject" after the access is completed, the virtual drive will also disappear automatically.
Similar to ISO, VHD files will also be loaded in the same way, except for write permissions as well as hard disks. At this point, the “Pop-up” button will unload the VHD image and save all changes to the contents of the VHD file.
Of course, I believe that even if Windows 8 is officially available, there will be many users who choose third-party software management image files. After all, Windows 8 does not indicate whether it supports other format images such as mdf. But like burning a disc, sometimes the features that come with the Windows operating system are a simpler option.
