IE10 will enable Flash content by default

Computer Store News: Microsoft will update the Metro version of IE10 in Windows 8 and Windows RT. By default, Flash content is enabled. In Windows 8, all Flash content will continue to be enabled by default in Desktop IE.

Prior to this, IE10 in Windows 8 and Windows RT had many restrictions on Flash websites. Only the IE10 whitelist can be used to play Flash content. Some developers have also cracked this mechanism, allowing Metro IE10 to access any Flash website. If you haven't had time to use this method, then you don't have to, and now Microsoft has taken the initiative to let go of the restrictions.

Microsoft said that in the past few months, after extensive testing, most websites with Flash content have been compatible and optimized for Windows touch experience, performance and battery life. After this update, the Compatibility View (CV) list will only block the Flash content of a small number of sites, they are not compatible with the Windows touch experience or rely on other plugins.

 In the thousands of domain names that have tested Flash compatibility so far, we have only found that less than 4% of websites are still incompatible, mostly because the core experience of these sites requires Flash. Other ActiveX controls. Now that a large number of users and developers are using Windows 8, we have heard feedback from users about the Flash site (and thus made the above decision). & rdquo;

Windows 8 desktop version IE10 will be compatible with all Flash websites, Metro version IE10 is compatible with all websites in CV list; IE10 in Windows RT is only compatible with websites in CV list.
