Microsoft opened a new version of Outlook.com changed its name to Outlook Mail and UI improvements

Computer Store News: Microsoft introduced some interesting changes to its design language through Windows 10, such as the newly added wireframe icons. Now, Microsoft is working to improve the design of Outlook.com.

According to foreign media Neowin reports, Microsoft is making some changes to the top of the Outlook.com page. The most notable of these is the new name of the site —— Outlook Mail.

The main changes compared to the existing page include:

• The most obvious is that the Outlook application page title becomes Outlook Mail, and the same name as the Win10 built-in universal mail application, contacts and OneDrive The icons have also changed.

• Outlook.com's tile icon becomes a dynamic tile with twice the width and unread mail messages in real time.

• The calendar app icon is the current date, not just an image.

• The People and Calendar app tile turns blue. The calendar and contacts icons have also changed to become hollow outline icons, consistent with the style in Windows 10.

• Removed the Online word from all tiles.

• joined Sway.

Neowin reminds that these changes do not cover all users. Microsoft is likely to be testing these improvements, so the new Outlook Mail site is only available to a subset of users, and is expected to bring these new changes to more users in the coming months.
