Easily modify the background image of the Window 7 login interface.

In XP and Vista, we modify the background of the login interface by first replacing the original image in the Logonui.exe file with a tool such as ResHacker, and then modifying the original image. The Logonui.exe file is replaced by the file with the same name in the directory "X:WindowsSystem32" (X is the system disk, the same below). Think about it! This is really a very cumbersome process, and there are certain risks. If the system is not working properly, it will not work properly. However, in Windows 7, it is a background image that supports the custom login interface. It is much more convenient to modify the background of the login interface.

First step: first click “start →run”, open the “run” dialog box and enter “Regedit” (excluding the outer quotes); then click “determine&rdquo The button opens the registry editor and then navigates to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionAuthenticationLogonUIBackground" branch; you will find a double-byte value called "OEMBackground" (if you don't have one, you can create a new one), and finally right click on the double word. The section value, select Modify, and change its value to 1.

●Modify the registry value

Second step: Open the “C:WindowsSystem32oobe” directory, and then create a folder named “info” in the directory and open it, then Create a folder named “backgrounds” in the open directory, and then adjust the background image of the JPG format prepared in advance to 1024× 768 pixels, and finally save the adjusted background image to “C: In the WindowsSystem32oobeinfobackgrounds” directory, the file name is “backgroundDefault.jpg”. After completing the above two steps, log out or restart the system, we can see the effect of the modified login interface.

Tips: The background image of our edited login interface is “backgroundDefault.jpg”, and its volume must be controlled within 250KB. Otherwise, the background image of our modified login screen will not display properly.
