Install Vista driver under laptop XP system

The ASUS F5Q237SL-DR notebook was purchased during the 5•1 period, and the Windows XP operating system was installed for it. However, Asus did not provide drivers for Windows XP for this notebook, but only provided drivers for Vista. I have tried all the drivers of the notebook after I have tried my best, and I believe that I can give some inspiration to readers who have encountered similar problems.
Method 1: Stealing the column
For this type of notebook, we can replace it with the Windows XP driver driver of the earlier product with the same motherboard chipset. Because they all use the same chipset, there is no need to worry about driver compatibility issues. Most of the ASUS F5M Windows XP drivers (except for graphics drivers) are available for the F5Q237SL-DR, which can be downloaded from the Asus official website. After the download and installation is completed, most of the problems are solved. However, since the F5Q237SL-DR uses the new Mobility Radeon HD3470, the related drivers cannot be found at this time. In this case, only the revised installation method can be used for installation.
Download the latest version of ATI Catalyst 8.4 driver. After decompressing, use DH Mobility Modder.Net to modify the driver that can be installed in the mobile version of the graphics card. Then, in the device manager, manually update the graphics card driver. After the reboot, the installation is successful.
Method 2: Intelligent Recognition
For those users who are not familiar with hardware and drivers, Method 1 is obviously not convenient enough. In fact, there is now a very simple way to use the "Drive Wizard" to install the driver. Driver Wizard 2008 is able to detect most popular hardware and automatically download and install the most appropriate drivers. In addition to installing drivers for unknown devices, Driver Wizard automatically detects driver upgrades and keeps the hardware drivers up to date.

What we need to do is to download the latest version of the software at www.drivergenius.com. After the installation is complete, select the driver update, select the graphics card in the hardware that needs to be updated, and tick it to start the update. The program will automatically download the update and install it. After the installation is complete, restart the system and all drivers can be installed.

Tip: "Driver Genius" must be able to automatically identify and install drivers in the state connected to the Internet, no access to the Internet is not working. It can install drivers for all hardware devices. (Tianjin Lv Jifeng)
After editing: This kind of problem is really plagued by many users. The two methods introduced by the author are not only for ASUS notebooks, but also for all other notebooks. If you have a similar problem, try these two methods.
