Vista can withstand how many malware infections

Security vendor PC Tools recently said that according to their data, Windows Vista is more susceptible to malware than Windows 2000 years ago.

PC Tools said that Microsoft said that Vista is the safest Windows ever, but they found out from the feedback data of ThreatFire (an anti-malware program) that in an average of 1,000 Vistas among 1.4 million computers. There are 639 malware, Windows 2000 is 586, Windows 2003 is 478, and the highest is XP, which is 1021. Vista is really safer than XP, but it's worse than win2000.

However, Microsoft disagreed. They think that PC Tools is only for the sale of their products. According to Microsoft's malware removal program MSRT feedback, Vista was infected from June to December 2007. There are 2.8%, XP is 7.2% and 2000 SP4 is 5%.

But whether it's PCtools or Microsoft, I think they all ignore the fact that the number of malware circulating on the Internet is now a few times compared to eight years ago. According to the experience of the majority of users, the probability of poisoning under Vista is lower than that under XP.
