No optical drive floppy drive reloading system

Optical drives and floppy drives are very popular things, but in some cases, such as equipment damage, laptops without optical drives, floppy drives, etc., many things can not be done. In fact, not so bad, no CD-ROM, floppy drive, we can still reinstall the system, refresh the BIOS!

example: light, soft

has nothing to reinstall the system, a computer unit installed because a lot of games, resulting in the system unresponsive. To improve this situation, it is planned to format the hard disk and reinstall the system. But the trouble is that the floppy drive and the optical drive are both damaged and cannot be used, and the graphics driver cannot be found. Fortunately, the machine hangs two 4GB hard drives (each has only one partition), respectively Hardisk0, Harddisk1, the BIOS is set to boot from Hardisk0 (C drive), Hardisk0 is installed Windows 98 (we are ready to reinstall the system), Hardisk1 (D drive) has a Windows 98 installer backup, nothing more.

we first graphics driver files from the C: \\ windows \\ system backup to the D drive. However, in this case, regardless of the MS-DOS mode or the MS-DOS mode of Windows 98, the C drive cannot be formatted, and the D drive cannot be formatted. How to do?

we thought this DOS SYS command, with "SYS c: d:" The C drive (Hardisk0) system passed to the D drive (Hardisk1), the operation was successful. Then modify the BIOS settings and change to boot from Hardisk1. After rebooting, Hardisk1 becomes the C drive and Hardisk0 becomes the D drive. Then use the DOS command "Format d: /s" to format the D disk (Hardisk0) with the system, the operation is successful. Modify the BIOS settings again, change to the original boot from Hardisk0, and start successfully. Double-click the backup Windows 98 installer on the D disk (Hardisk1) to install it. Soon the system is installed. The graphics driver is also installed from our backup file. Everything is OK. In the absence of a CD-ROM floppy drive, not only the hard disk was formatted, but the system was reinstalled.
