How to make Windows XP compatible with 16-bit DOS programs

Although Windows XP provides a compatible wizard to run our old programs, but it is not easy to use, such as Turbo C, which is still used in many schools. Running in XP often takes a splash. At this point, we can use the start command to solve.

In the Windows\\command folder under the Windows installation directory, there is a DOS program start.exe, which is a tool for calling DOS programs under Windows state, which can be used directly at the DOS prompt. By using discovery, clever application of it can greatly facilitate our daily work.

The format of the command is: Start/seperate e:\\tc\\tc.exe.

The "seperate" parameter refers to opening a separate space in memory to run a 16-bit program, and a parameter "shared" to start a 16-bit program in a shared memory space.
