We know that the folder encryption feature is built into Windows XP, but do you know that you can also encrypt folders with the recycle bin?

First, open "My Computer", click the "View" button in the toolbar, select the "Folder Options", select "Show all files" in the pop-up dialog box, cancel " Hide protected operating system files (recommended). Then click
"OK".

Next, enter the system root directory (C:\\), right-click "Recycle Bin", (named "Recycled" folder), in the pop-up shortcut menu dialog box, select "Enable shrink" Thumbnail view mode, and then click "Apply", the reception will find that the system automatically selects the "Read Only" property, you need to manually remove the "Read Only" property, and then click "OK". At this point you will find that the icon becomes a normal folder, then double-click the "Recycled" folder, find an initialization file named "desktop.ini", activate it, and copy it to the file you need to encrypt. Next, as in the "F:\\Test" folder below.

Finally, right click on the "F:\\Test" folder, select Properties, make sure the "Read Only" property is selected in the pop-up dialog box, and then in the "Enable thumbnail view mode" checkbox Hit the hook before you can confirm.
