Before the official introduction, I think it is necessary to introduce the basic knowledge of system beautification. In fact, a complete XP theme is composed of many parts, such as skin, wallpaper, mouse, sound and so on. The simplest system beautification is to change the theme style. If changing the theme style is equivalent to replacing the system with a new coat, then changing the other parts is equivalent to adding a variety of decorations to the new coat.

So, how do we change the theme style of the system? In fact, the easiest way is to use professional landscaping software.

[beautification] step

1. First, right click and select "Properties" in the blank part of the desktop command, open the dialog box.

2. Then, change the "current theme" of the system to "Windows Classic", and then exit after confirming.

3. install the downloaded WindowBlinds5 (hereinafter referred to as WB5) main program, follow the prompts to restart the computer.

4. Then, double-click and install the VistaCHS theme package, wait a moment, and see the prompts that the theme package has been installed.

5. Finally, double-click to enter the WB5 program, find the newly installed "VistaCHS" theme in the list of topics, double-click to complete the replacement, as shown in Figure 2.

[Small Tips] After we successfully complete the installation of the Vista style package, some careful friends will definitely find that the new version of the start menu is somewhat " Misplaced, as shown in Figure 3. In fact, this is due to the inconsistency between the Vista menu button and the XP menu button. Of course, the solution is also very simple, that is to replace a modified version of the system shell.

First download the explorer.exe
file, right click on the blank part of the taskbar and select the "Task Manager" command. Then, find and end the "explorer.exe" process in the "Processes" tab. At this point, the current screen will lose all icons. Then, click on the Task Manager's File menu → New Task to browse and open the explorer.exe
file. At this point, the desktop icons are all restored, and the start menu is now back to normal.
