In the use of the computer, the shortcut icon on the desktop will increase with the installation of the software, the desktop will look more chaotic, and sometimes reduce the computer's startup speed. If you delete them all, sometimes it will be inconvenient when running the program, so we can use the cleanup method to organize the shortcut icons on the desktop. In Windows XP system, you can do the following steps: Right-click on the desktop, select "Arrange Icons" - "Run Desktop Cleanup Wizard" command from the shortcut menu, pop-up "Run Desktop Cleanup Wizard" dialog box, (such as Figure 1) is shown. Then click on the "Next" button in the dialog box, which will open a check interface with all the desktop icons (Figure 2).

Each icon in the interface has its last running time prompt. In the order of running time, select the shortcut icon that has not been used for a long time, click "Next" The button can be used to clean up the desktop icon (as shown in Figure 3).

Clicking the "Finish" button in the last dialog box will automatically generate a folder named "Unused Desktop Shortcuts" on the desktop. The previously selected ones are not commonly used. The shortcut icons are placed in this folder to achieve a clean desktop effect. Open this folder when you need it, and easily find the shortcut you need, as shown in Figure 4.

Pressing the Enter key will bring up a prompt box indicating that the function is successfully closed, indicating that this function has been successfully closed. The function closes successfully (as shown in Figure 6).

Xiao Bian Tip: If you want to restore support for ZIP compressed files, enter "regsvr32zipfldr.dll" without the quotes to the "Run" dialog box.
