Taming Windows XP's "chaos" input method

First, the smart ABC cursor follows
Users who have just installed Windows XP or Office XP, when using smart ABC to input Chinese characters, they will find that there is no Chinese character prompt box in the place where Chinese characters are input, and several The characters are also unresponsive, which makes people angry. However, careful users will find that there is a character prompt box at the bottom of the screen, but it is very small and not easy to be found. Moreover, Chinese characters will appear only when you input a full spell of a Chinese character. Move the mouse to a place that you can easily see it. When you
enter the character, it will go back to the bottom. It really doesn't work. Why?

When you use smart ABC, each time you enter a character, in the vicinity of the Chinese character you want to enter, a character prompt box will appear, allowing you to select the desired Chinese character at any time, just like your shadow. Always follow you, will it be your shadow? Of course not, but it is hidden. In order to find it, I tried to click the small triangle of the input method toolbar, click "Settings", the "Text Service and Input Language" dialog box appears, click to select "Chinese" (Simplified)→Intelligent ABC”, activate the “Properties” button, click “Properties”, and the “Smart ABC Input Method Settings” dialog box appears. There are two options in "Style", one is "cursor follow" and the other is "fixed format" (default is "fixed format"). I don't even think about it, just click to select "Cursor Follow" and then "OK" "Exit, open the notepad and try, the miracle appears, and the familiar character prompt box is back to me!"

Second, restore the classic mode of the toolbar

In order to catch up with the trend of Windows XP and Office XP, the author regardless of the three seven twenty-one, brought the CD to install it, did not think Thinking of my "chicken" feeling, she is usually very diligent, this time is also lazy, and it is too slow to be tolerated. Yes, the burden is too heavy, dragging her down, I see Straight distressed, after all, she was too young, for her no longer suffering, I decided to relieve her burden, uninstalled Office XP, then she sang cheerfully, but when I was using Chinese input method, Some are not very easy.

Because any system installed with Office XP will automatically add the "text service" function, it is very inconvenient to switch, how can I find her original look (I am somewhat nostalgic)? Through testing, I found that this is not difficult. It only takes a few seconds to get it, so that she will return to your arms.

Click the small triangle of the input method toolbar, click "Settings", select "English (United States)", click the "Add" button, enter the language selection "Chinese (China)", input method selection "Wang code five pens 98 version", click "OK" to quit, and then see, is your mother back? In order to let her no longer leave you, right click on the input method toolbar, select "Settings", select "Chinese input method", click "Delete → OK", this time, she will never leave you again.

In fact, the change method under Windows XP operating system is similar. In the "Text Service and Input Method Settings" dialog box, click to select "English", click the "Delete" button, and then click Select "Chinese", click the "Add" button, enter the method to select "Chinese (Traditional) - American keyboard", click "OK" to exit, log out the user, and then see if it is similar to the original, it looks like ?
