Good use of Windows XP music butler

I believe that everyone, like me, encountered his favorite music while surfing the Internet and tried to "take it" into his hard drive. Over time, the "Music" folder is filled with all kinds of stuff. Whether it's icons, thumbnails, or detailed information, it's a lot of stuff. Although each piece is arranged neatly, when we intend to play a certain song, we find that whether it is by name, by size or by modification time, the guy who is tricky is always willing to come out. Give it a try, can you find the song "Beautiful Mood" from this folder? (See Figure 1)

To solve this problem, we often create a lot of subfolders, named after a singer, then a drag a folder to the individual. The cumbersomeness of doing this is self-evident, imagine what a huge project would be if I had hundreds of songs! And whenever there are new songs to join, you have to do it again. It is also very uncomfortable to frequently switch between folders in use.
First, the convenient sorting function
In fact, Windows XP itself provides a very good music treasurer: "folder template", the following will introduce it to everyone.
Right-click on the music folder and select "Properties" and select "Custom". Select "Music (for audio files and playlists)" in the "Use this folder type as a template" option box. In this way, our music treasury manager will start working. As for whether to choose "Apply this template to all sub-folders", it will be chosen according to different situations (see Figure 2).

not difficult to find, at the top there is a title of the first, namely the "name", "size", "artist", "Release Year" and so on, but each song honestly themselves The resumes were handed out and arranged in a tabular form below the heading. At a glance, clear and clear. Right-click anywhere on the header to select the header item you want to display.
Right-click in the blank space and you can see that there is no longer just a "name" and "size" in the options for arranging icons. Many features that are closely related to the content of the song itself can also be used as a basis for arranging icons. Such as "artist", "record title" and so on.

Tips
When arranging, always remember to put a tick before the "group by group", so the results will be as good as Figure 3!

Second, the format of music files
There is still a very important problem has not been dealt with: there are two types of diehards in the information of many songs, the first one is the guy of unknown origin, in it The important information about artists, records, styles, etc. is empty, and even the name is a string of meaningless English letters. There is also a class of information added by a long list of websites, which is very troublesome to find.
To solve this problem, right-click on the "chaos" song and open the "Property Summary", which shows all its files (see Figure 3). Here, a piece of music is listed as an attribute item from the artist, the title of the album, the release year, its bit rate, the sampling rate, etc., and the values of these attributes are displayed later. Click on the item values you want to modify, and then write the correct information yourself to let them recover their true appearance!

Finally, to tell you that, in fact, there are many features template folder I believe we would have thought, to use other types of templates in Figure 2, there are many simple and convenient management functions.
