Modify the registry to achieve XP automatic login

  

Before entering the Windows XP desktop, each time there will be a brain login interface, asking us to enter the user name and password, can increase the security of the system, but also for multiple people to share A computer provides convenience, but if it is a home computer, it is only used by you alone, so each time the password is not a little convenient. We can achieve automatic login of XP by modifying the registry. Step 1: Run “ldedit” to open the “Registry Manager”; run the Registry Editor, expand the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\WindowsNT\\CurrentVersion\\Winlogon] branch, and then double-click in the right window “DefaultUserName”, then enter your login username. If there is no default user name, you can add this item by selecting “edit →new →string value(s)→DefaultUserName” in the menu bar of the Registry Editor. Note that you should distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters.

Step 2: Also under the branch, double-click "DefaultPassword" in the right window of the Registry Editor. If you do not find a "DefaultPassword" option, you can create a new one by following the steps above. String value.

Step 3: Next, double-click “AutoAdminLogon” in the right window to set the value to “1”. If you do not find “AutoAdminLogon”, you can follow the steps above to create a new one.

Now close the Registry Editor and restart your computer. Later you will find that the annoying login dialog is gone.
