IE9 browser can not play Flash solution

Many people will encounter the problem that Flash content cannot be played on Internet Explorer 9. The web page will pop up a prompt to upgrade the Flash plugin; while upgrading the Flash plugin and refreshing the page, the previous upgrade prompt will still pop up.

First, let's check if the Flash plugin (Shockwave Flash Object) is disabled.

Click the button in the upper right corner of the IE9 page to open Manage Add-ons.

Check the status of the Shockwave Flash Object. If it is really disabled, select it, then right click and select "Enable".

If you still can't open Flash after enabling the Flash plugin (Shockwave Flash Object), you can wonder if it is related to IE9's new feature ActiveX filtering.

If this feature is enabled, the effect of browsing the Flash page is the same as not installing the Flash plugin.

Look at the blue prompt icon in the address bar

If yes, click this icon and select "Close ActiveX Filter".

PS:
The "Disable ActiveX Filter" here is only valid for the current web page. If you want to apply this setting to all web pages, click "Tools -> Security -> ActiveX Filter". Remove the check for "ActiveX Filter".
