Outlook Filtering Spam Tips

I often receive a lot of unsolicited spam, and some emails even carry viruses, making anti-virus software frequently alarmed, which is very headache.

Because I use the Outlook Express to send and receive mail, I need to download the mail from the mail server to the local hard disk when I receive the mail, and then I can browse it. This will download the spam together, which is not only wasteful. The space of the hard disk also increases the security risks.

Although it is possible to delete messages from non-compliant sender addresses into "Deleted Items" via "Mail → Block Sender" in the Outlook Express menu, it is not a permanent deletion in the true sense. Just like the recycle bins that are placed in the system, those viruses remain on the local disk. So is there any way to completely remove it?

In fact, you can use the Outlook Express mail rules, open the menu "Tools → Mail Rules → Mail", click the "New" button, create a new mail rule, and check "If" in the first column of the window that opens. The sender contains the user item, and then click the underlined value in the third column to edit. For example, if we don't trust all the emails from 111.com, we can fill in the domain name 111.com and click Add. "Add it, check "Delete from server" in the second column, and finally press "OK" to complete the rule. In this way, after receiving the mail, you can directly remove those spam messages, and will not keep them on the local hard disk.

Tip: There are many contents that can be selected by mail rules. You can formulate corresponding rules according to different situations.
