How to set up printer sharing under win7 system

  
Usually the office will use the printer device, then how to set up in the LAN to achieve printer sharing?

Cancel the guest user, because someone else wants to access the printer to install the printer is to access the guest account.
Click the [Start] button, right click on [Computer], select [Manage], as shown below:

Double-click [Guest] open the [Guest] properties window, make sure that [account is disabled] option is not selected



set the target printer sharing: click the [start] button, select devices and printers [], as follows Figure:
Find the printer you want to share in the pop-up window (provided the printer is properly connected, the driver has been installed correctly), right click on the printer, select [Printer Properties], as shown below:
Switch to [ sharing] tab, check [share this printer], and set a share name (Remember the share name, the latter setting may be used), as follows:



Advanced sharing settings: Right click on the network connection icon of the system tray, select [Open Network and Sharing Center], as shown below:
Remember the type of network, then click [Select Family Group in the pop-up window) And sharing options], as follows Figure:
Then click [Change Advanced Sharing Settings], as shown below:
If it is a home or work network, the specific settings of [Change Advanced Sharing Settings] can refer to the following figure, where the key options have been red circle Mark, don't forget to save the changes after the setting is completed.
Note: If it is a public network, the specific settings are similar to the above, but the corresponding options under [Public] should be set accordingly, instead of [Family or Work], as shown below:





set up a workgroup: before adding the target printer, we must first determine whether LAN computers are in a workgroup
process is as follows: click the [start] button, computer 】 Right click, select [Properties], as shown below:
Find the working group in the pop-up window. If the working group settings of the computer are inconsistent, please click [Change Settings];
If you agree, you can exit directly, skip to the fifth step.
Note: Please remember [computer name], the settings will be used later.
If you are in a different workgroup, you can set it in this window:
Note: This setting will not take effect after the restart, so don't forget to restart the computer after the setup is complete, so that the settings take effect.



add the target printer on another computer:
Note: This step is in the LAN other computers need to share the printer performed. The process of this step in XP and Win7 system is similar. This article introduces Win7 as an example.
There are many ways to add them, and two of them are introduced.
First of all, no matter which method you use, you should first enter [Control Panel], open the [Devices and Printers] window, and click [Add Printer]
Next, select [Add Network, Wireless or Bluetooth Printer] , click [Next]
After clicking [Next], the system will automatically search for available printers.

If you wait patiently after the system still can't find the printer you need, don't worry, you can click [I need the printer is not in the list], and then click [Next]
