Windows 8 Operation Tips Super Button

[Computer Shop News]

No matter where you are in Windows 8, you want to arrive at "Start” screen but don't know how to operate? Want to search for content but don't know how to start it? Five super buttons can help you solve many problems.

The five charms (Search, Share, Start, Devices, and Settings) are always on the right side of the screen. The method of opening is as follows:

Using the touch function, swipe on the right edge of the screen and click the desired button.

Using your mouse, move the mouse pointer to the top right or bottom right corner and move it up or down to click the desired button.

The following are the actions you can perform with the charms:

Search. Search for anything. You can search only for your app (such as finding a specific message in a message), search for other apps (find content on the Internet), or search for an entire computer (app, settings, or file).

Sharing. Share files and information with people you know, or send messages to other apps without leaving the current app. You can email photos to your mom, update your Facebook status, or send a link to your notes app.

Start. Arrive at “Start” screen. Or, if you have reached the &Startquo;start” screen, you can use this charm to return to the last app you used.

Equipment. Use all wired and wireless devices connected to your computer. You can print from the app, sync with your phone or stream the latest home movies to your TV.

Settings. Change settings for your app and computer. You'll find the settings, help, and information for the app you're using, as well as common computer settings (network connection, volume, brightness, notifications, power, and keyboard). These computer settings are the same no matter where in Windows, but the application settings are different for each app. You can also change your computer settings to change your computer settings when you choose. Here you can change the lock screen image, manage notifications, and more.
