Win8 Tip: Set PIN for Windows 8 Login

  

Microsoft cross-platform operating system Windows 8 supports a variety of mobile device terminals, and has done a lot of related features and functions for mobile applications, such as the introduction of PIN code. Win8 system supports PIN code setting and login. In terms of Windows 8 tablet with SIM card support, in addition to system password and picture password, we can also select and set PIN code login method for Win8 system. PIN code: The PIN code is the abbreviation of “Personal Identification Number”, which is the personal identification number of the SIM card. The PIN code of the mobile phone is a security protection measure for the SIM card to prevent the SIM card from being stolen. If the PIN code is incorrectly entered three times, the mobile phone will be automatically locked and must be unlocked with the PUK code. If the power-on PIN code is enabled, a 4-digit PIN code is required for each login.

Below we introduce the steps for setting up the PIN code registration in Win8 system.

First enter the Win8 system settings interface. A friend using the touch screen can use his finger to swipe from the right side of the screen to the left. The mouse operation moves the mouse to the upper right or lower right corner of the screen, which brings up the charm menu bar (Charm menu bar). Then select the “Settings” button, the keyboard operation is to directly press the “Win+i” key, and finally select “Change PC Settings” in the lower right corner.

In Win8 & ldquo; Computer Settings & rdquo; select “ Account & rdquo;, click the right side & ldquo; create PIN & rdquo; button.

The current account has a login password. Win8 will ask you to enter the current account password first.

After entering the password correctly, you can create the login PIN code of Win8 system, four digits.

Now we have successfully set the PIN for the Win8 system. Go back to the Win8 system settings interface, you can see the “Change PIN” and “Delete” buttons under the login option. If you don't need a PIN, click the “Delete” button. If you need to change your PIN, click “Change PIN”, then enter your current password and enter your new password.

After setting the PIN code for the Win8 system, the next time you log in to the Win8 system, you will be asked to enter the PIN code by default. Enter the four numbers we set before. Click “login options” to choose your preferred login method from image password, system password and PIN code.
