Win10 64-bit installation process can only be installed to the GPT partition how to do?

Are you also having this situation: When installing Windows 10 64-bit, an error occurs, stating that "Windows cannot install to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On an EFI system, Windows can only be installed to a GPT disk”? These days, when the author upgraded Windows10, it appeared. People on the Internet say that they need to set the BIOS, "Both", what can be, the author's computer BIOS is too streamlined, there are not so many options. Then, someone said, only the entire disk can be converted to GPT!

The problem is coming, the author's hard drive has too many things, and can't always back up. After studying the mirroring structure of the system, I can tell you that these changes are completely unnecessary, and any advanced tutorials are completely unnecessary. Here, you only need to go through a small operation to teach you to avoid EFI boot boot detection!

1. Before starting, let me talk about how to install the system with a USB flash drive. First, open the ISO image with a floppy disk as shown.

2, then, find “start”-“write hard disk image...”. As shown.

3. Finally, in the pop-up window of “Write to Hard Disk Image”, select the U disk (hard disk drive) you want to write, and then select the USB-HDD+ After confirming the correctness, click “write”, wait for completion. As shown.

4. After the burning is completed, the file manager opens the U disk directory. You will find that the ISO files have been copied here. The key point is coming. Remember the theme of this experience. "Over the EFI system of the motherboard", a friend who has played PE, knows one thing, when EFI boots, first check whether the boot media exists "ldmg;bootmgr.efi" and folder "efi" Two.

This is the key point. Once the boot media does not exist in these two files or folders, it will boot by default in the traditional BIOS mode, so there is no emphasis on GPT partitions. That is, we can install Windows 10 system normally.

Operation:

Delete files“bootmgr.efi” and folder&equo;efi”. The remaining directory structure is as shown.

The rest is waiting for the system to be installed, so enjoy the enjoyment and experience of the new system. Look at the screenshots above, you know, I have used it!

Let's take a picture.

Notes:

1. When making a USB flash drive boot disk, & ldquo;write mode” can be based on your actual situation, but generally U-HDD+ is more commonly used ;

2, if the U disk is already a boot disk, you can also copy the ISO file directly (so you don't use the floppy disk), you can also avoid formatting the U disk;

3 Installation with CD-ROM can also be used (tutorial), but you need to modify the ISO when burning ISO, delete these two files or folders;
