Windows 10 users are getting more and more, but the number of Windows 7 users is also growing

Computer store news: Microsoft said that 300 million devices were running Windows 10 last month. The latest market share data provided by Net Applications confirms Microsoft's claim that Windows 10 operating system users are indeed more and more. But at the same time, Windows 7 doesn't seem to give up. In the past few months, Windows 7 has lost some users because of users upgrading Windows 10, but now the number of operating system users has grown again.

Specifically, Windows 7 is still the world's leading desktop operating system with a market share of 48.57%. Last month, the figure was 47.82%, which means that Windows 7 market share is short. It rose by 0.75 percentage points in a short month.

Windows 10 is currently the second-ranked desktop operating system with a market share of 17.43%. In April, the figure was 15.34%, with a growth rate of at least 2.09 percentage points, the largest increase this year. .

Windows XP is another tough bone. Although it does lose users, it still maintains its market share. The Windows XP market share dropped from 10.63% in the previous month to 10.09% this month, so one of the 10 computers still runs the Windows XP operating system.

Microsoft will end its free upgrade window on July 29, so the next few months will play a key role in the future market share of Windows 10.
