Win10 Preview 10558: Added "Find My Device" Anti-Theft Function

Computer Store News: In the Win10Build 10558 leaked yesterday, we found that Microsoft has added the "Find My Device" function. This is a useful feature that allows users to find lost devices and see where the device last parked. However, the "Find My Device" feature is currently not enabled in Build 10558. We may only be able to use this new feature in the PC preview version after Build 10558.

In addition to the "Find My Device" feature, Windows 10 Enterprise users can now use the "Windows Spotlight" feature in Build 10558. Originally announced at this year's Build 2015 conference, this feature brings a new lock screen experience to Win10, designed to allow users to directly provide feedback recommendations based on lock screen images on the lock screen.

The new lock screen feature called "Windows Spotlight" will not only show users the best picture, but also show users running on Windows devices. A specific application runs a screenshot. Users can let the system accurately grasp their aesthetic style by subliminarily implementing the customization of Win10 lock screen wallpaper by means of “Like” or “step & rdquo; lock screen image. For example, if you ever had a few wallpapers about natural beauty in “Windows Spotlight”, you will see more wallpapers related to nature in future system usage.

Previously Windows Spotlight was an exclusive feature of the Win10 Home Edition system. After receiving enough feedback, Microsoft has enabled this feature in Windows 10 Professional (last Insider Preview update) and Windows 10 Enterprise (this time Build 10558 update).

In addition, in Win10 Build 10558 users can also install applications to other disks or SD cards. This feature was removed by Microsoft in July, when the official said the feature was not ready. It now appears that this feature is likely to be linked to the Win10 official version with the Threshold 2 update by the end of the year. Although it is only a small feature improvement, I believe that Win10 tablet users will love it.
