Windows 9 (Threshold)

The source said that the Windows development team is planning to release at least 2 updates per month for the technology preview. These updates will most likely be the new Windows 9 (Threshold) version, which will further develop operating system stability and introduce new features.

The Windows 9 (Threshold) development team will continue to develop new versions and compile different branches and versions that are not fully available for public download testing. Every few weeks, the team will carefully select the updated version and update it as an update to the Windows 9 (Threshold) public technology preview.

Editor's comment: It is currently known that the Technology Preview will be able to upgrade to the new version via Windows Update without having to reinstall the entire Windows installation. In addition, the Windows 9 (Threshold) public technology preview will not activate the interactive real-time tile feature, which will be activated in the future by introducing a new version through the Windows update mechanism.
