Microsoft is preparing to kill the ARM architecture of the Windows RT system

Computer store news: Microsoft looks ready to kill the ARM architecture of the Windows RT operating system. Microsoft executive vice president Julie Larson-Green said at a seminar at the Swiss bank that they are considering renaming Windows RT and believe that the Windows prefix should not be added. Because in the minds of consumers, Windows means that all applications developed over the past few decades can be run, but Windows RT is based on the ARM architecture and is not compatible with x86 applications.

Larson-Green says they now have three different operating systems: Windows Phone, Windows RT and Windows, but they are not ready for the three operating systems. Analysts predict that RT will quietly go to sleep in 2014, and Microsoft may not launch the successors of Surface 3 and Nokia 2520. Microsoft's own RT equipment has suffered a serious loss, and it has to cut $900 million because of slow sales.
