Microsoft and Japan Insurance Company

Computer Store News: About eight months later, Microsoft will no longer support Windows XP. According to Net Applications statistics, XP now has 37% share of the Windows system. Microsoft's goal is to reduce XP's share to less than 10% before it stops providing support. Now, Microsoft is also adopting a variety of measures to achieve this goal.

Today, Microsoft announced that they will assist Japan's major insurance company, Meiji Yasuda, to upgrade from XP PC to Win8 tablet. This upgrade company will start in September. By then, 30,000 employees will be affected. Although Meiji Yasuda will soon move to the Win8 camp, its XP client software will continue to run, but will add some new features, such as using a stylus to sign names on documents.
