Custom Explorer Navigation Bar

Computer Shop News: This time, we will introduce you how to customize the Explorer navigation bar in Win8 system.

The navigation bar of the Explorer has always been the iconic design of Windows, and it is very convenient in practical use. However, by default, Microsoft does not provide custom features for this panel, so users who like simple users are not happy. In fact, with a few simple registry operations, we can completely decide the command layout in the navigation bar. For example, if it feels like "family group", it is useless to delete it directly.

The modification process is divided into two steps. First, the shortcut key Win+r is used to call up the “Run” dialog box, and then enter “ldquo; Regedit” Enter the registry editor. Next, right click on the previous directory of the final key value (in this case, "ShellFolder"), and change the owner of the directory by "Permissions”→"Advanced”→Owner"Change" For yourself, finally change your permissions on the directory to "full control".

Once you have full permissions to the target directory, you can proceed to the next step. The whole process is actually the same as other registry editors, which is to modify the specific key value by double-clicking to achieve the purpose of the custom resource manager navigation bar. The specific key values ​​correspond to the following:

1. Delete “family group>:HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\CLSID\\{B4FB3F98-C1EA-428d-A78A-D1F5659CBA93}\\ShellFolder (Attributes key value changed from “b084010c” <;b094010c”)

2. Delete “Library HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\CLSID\\{031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5}\\ShellFolder (Attributes key value changed from “b080010d” B090010d”)

3. Delete <;network":HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\CLSID\\{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}\\ShellFolder (Attributes key value changed from <b084010c” “b094010c” )
