        Preparation 1. Prepare the Windows XP Simplified Chinese installation CD and check if the CD-ROM supports self-starting. 2. If possible, use the ScanDisk to scan all hard disks before running the installer to check for hard disk errors and fix them. Otherwise, it will be troublesome if the hard disk error is detected during the installation. 3. Record the product key (installation serial number) of the installation file on paper (Computer Knowledge Network www.pc6c.com). 4. If possible, use the driver backup tool (such as: Driver Wizard 2004 V1.9 Beta.exe) to back up all the drivers under the original Windows XP to the hard disk (eg F:\\Drive). It is best to write down the motherboard and network card, graphics card and other major hardware models and manufacturers, pre-download the driver for backup. 5. If you want to format the C drive or D drive during the installation process (it is recommended to format the C drive during the installation process), please backup the useful data of the C drive or D drive. Booting the system with a CD Restart the system and set the CD-ROM drive to the first boot disk, save the settings and reboot. Put the XP installation CD into the CD-ROM drive and restart your computer. When starting up, press F2 quickly when the picture shown below appears.
