1.1.1 Managing Stored Accounts
If you frequently access a server's shared folder, you will need to enter the account and password of the access server each time, you can save the credentials to access the server. The following is to access the shared folder on the file server 10.7.1.4, you need to enter the account and password on the file server. The following actions save the network credentials to access the server. 1. Click “Start”à“Control Panel”, if it is the traditional “Start Menu”, click “Start”à“Set”à“Control Panel”, Click on “Classic View" on the left and click “User Account”. 2. In the “Users and Passwords Stored” dialog box that appears, click “Add”, enter the address of the server, access the username and password used by the server, and click “OK”. 3. Accessing the service again reveals that it is no longer necessary to enter an account number and password. If you want to use a computer name to access shared resources on 10.7.1.4, you will need to add another network credentials to log in to the server name. If you visit a Windows Integrated Authentication website or an FTP site, you can also store the website or program credentials. The “sps” in front of the username is the computer name or domain name. Once you visit the website again, the username and password do not need to be entered. Just click “OK” to access. As shown below.
