Use desktop panels and other settings to speed up the operation speed

My computer starts up faster, but after entering the desktop, the speed is very slow. How can I make it run faster? Every time I start Windows XP, the blue scroll bar will tirelessly walk a few laps for the pursuit of high efficiency. You, do you really want it to take a few laps? In fact, we can use the relevant settings to make the Windows XP system run faster. Let's experience how to set it up safely.
1)Maintenance system < Br> If you install and delete too many games, too many applications, and too many old materials in your system, your computer will run slower and slower, and the boot time will be longer and longer. Therefore, it is best to do a comprehensive maintenance of the computer at regular intervals (usually 1-3 months). Click "Start"→"Programs"→"Accessories"→"System Tools", use the disk cleaning and defragmentation inside to do a comprehensive maintenance on the computer, pay attention to defragmenting the disk The disk where the system is located must be sorted in order to really speed up the Windows boot sequence.
1) Remove the gorgeous and bloated appearance
Remove "Wallpaper", & ldquo; & screen saver & rdquo;, delete the extra desktop icon. If it is WinXP, you can also right click on "My Computer", select "Properties & Rarr; Advanced", click on "Settings" in the "Performance" option, select "Adjust to Best Performance" & rdquo ;
3) Expanding the virtual memory capacity
If your hard disk is large enough, please open the "system" in "Control Panel" and open "Virtual in the "Performance" Memory ", select the second item: the user sets the virtual memory setting, points to a less-used hard disk, and sets the maximum and minimum values to a fixed value, about twice the size of physical memory. In this way, when the virtual memory uses the hard disk, it does not need to accommodate the difference between the big and the small, and the fixed space is used as the virtual memory to speed up the access speed. The setting of virtual memory is best done after "disk defragmentation", so that virtual memory is not in a continuous, non-fragmented file space, which can work better.
4) Reduce the time of pre-launch
(1)Open "System Properties" (right click on my computer - properties, or open in the control panel & ldquo; system & rdquo;, shortcut win + Pause break) Click the "Advanced" tab, and in the "Startup and Recovery" area, open “Set", remove the “system startup” two √, if it is multi-system The user keeps “<;displays the list of operating system times” √, which is set to 5 in it.
(2) If you do not want the startup scroll bar to appear, you can click the “Edit” button in the previous step to open the “System Startup” area edit, and add /noguiboot to the fastdetect in the boot notebook. So that the scroll bar will no longer be displayed at startup. If you really like the display of this scroll bar, you don't have to do this step.
5) Remove the boot logo of windows.
Click “Start”→“Control Panel”→“Folder Options>, from the “View” tab“Advanced Settings“Checkbox in the list box“ All files & rdquo;. Then open the c drive, find the msdos.sys file, and cancel its "read-only" attribute, open it, under the "option" paragraph, add a line statement: logo=0, so the windows boot pattern Will not be loaded to run.
You can also click - Start - Run: type msconfig, then find boot.ini and check /bootlog inside.
