We often download the "unknown file" that the system does not recognize. For this kind of file, everyone is very troublesome. The first reaction is to open it with Notepad. The manual selection method can be achieved, but is it too tired to set up again and again? The following describes a permanent solution ::

First, enter "regediet" is running in the Open the Registry Editor




Create a new item named "." under "HKEY_CLASS_ROOT", and then create a new item named "shell" under the "." item, and create a new item named "open" under the "shell" item. Finally, Create an item called "command" under "open".



Then, select "command" key, then the default value to "Notepad.exe% 1",

After confirmation Press the “F5” function key to enter the refresh, exit the registry editor to take effect.

After this, we can double-click, you can open the "unknown file" directly with Notepad.
