How to solve the main reasons for the automatic restart of the system and the solution

1. Computer power is not enough or poor performance
This situation is also more common, especially when we add new equipment to our host, such as replacing the high-end graphics card, adding a recorder, adding a hard disk It is very easy to appear. When the host works at full speed, such as running a large 3D game, recording at high speed or preparing to read the disc, when the dual hard disk is copied, the data may be stopped due to insufficient power supply of the instantaneous power supply, but due to After the power supply stops outputting, the load is relieved and the power is turned on again. Because the recovery time after protection is very short, the performance given to us is that the host automatically restarts.
There is also a situation where the performance of the host switching power supply is poor. Although the voltage is stable and within the normal allowable range, the harmonic content of the output power supply is too large, which may cause the host to crash or restart frequently. . In this case, it is normal for us to test the voltage with a multimeter. It is best to replace an excellent power supply for replacement.
Workaround: Now change the high quality and high power computer power supply.
2. The mains plug of the main switch power supply is loose, the contact is not good, and it is not plugged in.
This situation will appear on the DIY machine. The power cord of the main power supply is not certified by 3C, and the power socket Not matching. When we shake the table or touch the host, the host will restart automatically, and it will usually be accompanied by a slight electric fire.
Solution: Replace the high quality 3C certified power cord.
3. The power supply of the motherboard ATX20 socket has a weak solder joint, poor contact
This kind of fault is not common, but it does exist, mainly when the host is working normally, move the ATX20 pin plug left and right to see if the host will restart automatically. At the same time, check the reed inside the 20-pin power plug for oxidation. This can easily lead to large contact resistance and poor contact, causing the host to freeze or restart. Sometimes it is necessary to check the connection of the 20-pin plug tail, whether it is secure.
Solution:
1 If it is a solder joint of the motherboard, it can be repaired directly with an electric iron. Note: When soldering computer boards such as motherboards, hard disks, graphics cards, etc., be sure to ground the soldering iron well or unplug the power cord during soldering.
2 If it is a power problem, it is best to replace a good power supply.
4.CPU problem
The internal circuit of the CPU is damaged. When the L2 cache is damaged, the computer can also start, and even enter the normal desktop for normal operation, but it will restart when a special function is performed. Or crash, such as drawing a table, playing VCD, playing games, etc.
Workaround: Try to shield the L2 cache (L2) or L1 cache (L1) in CMOS to see if the host can run normally; no longer just replace it with a good CPU. If it works properly after being shielded, it can still be used. Although it is slower, it will save money.
5. Memory problems
If a chip is not completely damaged on the memory stick, it is likely to pass the self-test (mostly POST is set), but at runtime it will be because of the large amount of heat generated by the memory. Causes a malfunction and unexpected restart. Most of the time, when the memory is damaged, the opportunity alarm is issued, but after the memory is damaged, there is no alarm, and the fault that is not powered is still there. It is best to use the exclusion method to quickly identify the fault location.
Software
1. Virus destruction
Since the computer was born, computer viruses have emerged. When the network becomes the information artery of today's society, the spread of the virus is more convenient, so it interferes with and disrupts our normal work from time to time. More typical is the "shock wave" virus that caused serious damage to the global computer some time ago. It will also prompt the system to start automatically after 60 seconds. In fact, as early as the DOS era, there are many viruses that can automatically restart your computer.
For virus damage, we can use the latest version of anti-virus software for anti-virus, generally found that the virus exists. Of course, there is also a possibility that someone is maliciously invading your computer when you are online, and a Trojan is placed. This allows the other party to remotely control all activities of your computer, including, of course, restarting your computer. For some Trojans, it is not easy to remove, it is best to reinstall the operating system.
2. System file corruption
When the system file is damaged, such as KERNEL32.DLL under Win2K, the font below the Win98FONTS directory, etc. The basic file is destroyed when the system is running, and the system cannot be initialized at startup. And forced to restart. You can do a test and rename the font "FONTS" in the WIN98 directory. When you turn it on again, our computer will continue to restart.
For this kind of failure, because you can't enter the normal desktop, you can only overwrite or reinstall.
3. Timing software or scheduled task software works
If you set up a restart or load some work programs in the "planning taskbar", when the time comes, the computer will start again. . In this case, we can open the "start" item, check if there are any executable files or other timed work programs that are not familiar to them, and then block them and then boot them. Of course, we can also enter the "Msconfig" command to select the startup item in "Run".
