Windows 98 adds a rename command to the recycle bin right-click menu

As mentioned earlier, when we right-click the "Recycle Bin" icon on the desktop, there is no "rename" command in the shortcut menu that pops up on the desktop, which gives the user a name change job for the recycle bin. There are a lot of unnecessary troubles. In fact, this problem can be solved. Here is an introduction to adding a "rename" command to the right mouse button menu of the recycle bin:

1) Start Windows 98 registration Table Editor

2) In the Registry Editor, expand HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, CLSID, {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}, and the ShellFolder branch.

3) At this point we will find a binary value named "Attributes" in the ShellFolder branch, double-click the binary value to open the "Edit Binary Value" dialog box.

4) In the "Edit Binary Value" dialog box, change the value of "Attributes" from "40 01 00 20" to "50 01 00 20".

5) Execute the "registration" menu"exit" command to close the Registry Editor.

After that, we just have to right click on the "Recycle Bin" icon and it will be very pleasant to see that there is already a "rename" command in the pop-up shortcut menu (as shown) Then we can use this command to easily rename the recycle bin.
