Windows 98 Add Control Panel to Start Menu

Adding a new application icon to the Start menu is a very simple matter, but it is not so easy if we want to add the Control Panel to the Start menu! Don't worry, I found a way to add the "Control Panel" to the "Start" menu:

1) Right-click on the empty space of the Windows 98 taskbar and execute " from the pop-up shortcut menu ; property " command to open the taskbar property settings box.

2) Click the "Start Menu Program" tab.

3) Click the "Advanced" button to open the "Browse Start Menu" dialog.

4) Execute the "folder" command in the "File" Menu"New" submenu, create a new folder in the "Start Menu", and place the file Change the name of the folder to "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}".

5) Execute the "Exit" command from the "File" menu, close "Browse Start Menu" dialog.

At this point, we click on the "Start" button and we will find a sub-menu named "Control Panel" in the "Start" menu, which includes all the controls in the system control panel. Projects, then we can use these projects to quickly call the various settings in the Control Panel to set up the system, which is more than clicking the "Start" button, then selecting "Settings", "Control Panel ", it is much more convenient to double-click the desired setting item after starting the control panel! In addition, the new "Dial Up Net.{922CFFA0-F557-101A-88EC-00DD010CCC48}" and "Printers.{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}" folders can also be implemented in the Start menu. Dial-up networking and printers are added to the purpose of the Start menu.
