Windows XP SP2 backup pop-up window settings

In Windows XP SP2, IE browser performance has been greatly enhanced, the most typical example is the addition of the blocking function of the pop-up window, users can according to their own needs Some sites' pop-up settings allow or block pop-ups, greatly simplifying the network environment. What can be aroused by many users is that if the system is reinstalled, IE will have to reset the management of the pop-up window, which is very troublesome. Is there any way for IE to remember these settings, just reload the system and simply import the settings file? In fact, we only need to back up the corresponding key-value items in the registry to achieve this function. Run the "regedit" command to open the Registry Editor, expand the "HKEY_Curr ent_User\\Software\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer\\New Windows" branch, and click "File → Export" on the editor menu bar to export the branch as a registration. Table files such as IEpop.reg, which are saved in this file are all the settings that IE manages for popup windows. Later, when you need to restore the management settings of the IE pop-up window, you only need to double-click the IEpop.reg file to import it into the registry, which is very convenient. Tip: The more convenient way is to enter the following command directly in the Run box: REG EXPORT "HKCU\\Software\\Mic rosoft\\Internet Explorer\\New Windows" IEpo p.reg . After the carriage return, the IEpop.reg file can be generated. To restore the settings, just type the "REG IMP ORT IEpop.reg" command in the Run box.
