For friends who use Windows XP system, when the system crashes or the system uses some inexplicable errors, what method do you use to solve it? Generally, it is reinstalled or used. Ghost recovery and so on. However, the use of these methods has its own drawbacks. For example, if the system is reinstalled, the original system settings and software must be reinstalled, which is very cumbersome. In fact, we can use the system repair function of Windows XP to fix system errors and update system files. The original system settings and installed programs will not change. The following uses the Windows XP Professional version as an example to describe how to repair the system. 1. When using the Windows XP system repair function, restart the computer, put the Windows XP system installation CD into the CD-ROM drive, and the screen will display the prompt message “Press any key to boot from CD” (press any key to start booting from the CD) , press any key such as "Enter" key. 2. When the "Windows XP Professional Installer, Welcome to the Installer" message is displayed on the screen, press the "Enter" key. It should be noted that the “R” button cannot be pressed here. If the “R” button is pressed, the faulty console repair program for Windows XP will be started. 3. In the “Windows XP Installation Agreement, Windows XP Professional End User Installation Agreement” interface, press “F8” to agree to the license agreement. A message will appear on the screen "Windows XP Professional Installer, if one of the following Windows XP installations is corrupted, the installer can try to fix it". The Windows XP installer that needs to be fixed is displayed in the list box below the window. If there are more than one, use the up and down arrows to highlight the system that needs to be repaired, and finally press the "R" key. 4. When the screen displays "Windows XP Professional installer, the installer has tried to update the following Windows installation", press the "Enter" key. In this way, the Windows XP system will be installed automatically. The subsequent installation steps will be the same as the reinstallation system. With the Windows XP operating system installed after the installation, the original system settings, installed software, and personal information will not change. Also note that with the Windows XP repair installation feature, you must use the original system Windows XP installation CD, otherwise you will not be able to log in to Windows XP even if you can successfully repair the system.
