Adjust Windows XP Registry Enjoy Extreme Broadband Internet Access

Windows XP limits the speed of broadband connections. Does it mean that we can transform the operating system and get faster Internet access? A: Now broadband networks are gradually entering the home and getting a wide range of applications, but some broadband users have slower web browsing speeds, uploading and downloading speeds. In fact, in Windows 2000 or XP, by modifying the registry, we can make the speed of the broadband network greatly improved, and really enjoy the fun of speed Internet access.

Run "regedit" to open the "Registry Manager"; then, find HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\Tcpip\\Parameters by the following path.

Right-click the corresponding blank space on the right side of the "Parameters" subkey, select "New" → "DWord Value", name it "DefaultTTL", then right click the mouse and select "Modify", pop up The value of the window is modified to be "80" (hexadecimal) or 128 (decimal).

Then create the following "DWord value" and modify its value (if there are two values, the former is hexadecimal and the latter is decimal):

"EnablePMTUBHDetect"=" 0”

“EnablePMTUDiscovery”=“1”

“GlobalMaxTcpWindowsize”=“7FFF” or “32767”

“TcpMaxDupAcks”=“2”

"SackOpts" = "1"

"Tcp1323Opts" = "1"

"TcpWindowsize" = "7FFF" or "32767" (93440 or 186880 or 372300, depending on network conditions) )

Then save our changes, restart your computer, and enjoy the fun of higher network speeds
