Solve the problem of double system menu loss after restoring xp

Xiaobian I have recently encountered a problem with the GHOST to restore XP, the dual system boot menu is gone. Fortunately, there are high-ranking people who can now start up normally.

Here's my solution:

first step, Ntldr, Ntdetec, Bootsect.dos and boot.ini (with a search engine to find what you can find) these four files Copy to the C drive and search to find it.

The second step is to use the XP/2000 installation CD to bring up the faulty console (F8)

The recovery console will automatically find Out of your Win2000 or WinXP installation folder for selection, because we only installed a Win2000 or WinXP, so there is no choice, just select 1 (Figure), and press Enter to continue, then you are required to enter a password, Enter your administrator password, press

Figure

Step 3, then you can enter the faulty console to operate

Type Fixboot and press Enter. BR>
There will be a prompt to restore the target disk partition and ask for confirmation, type Y and press Enter.

Tip FIXBOOT is writing a new boot sector

Prompt to complete the repair work

Now your dual system boot menu is fixed.
