The new memory of XP4 is a new use of

. Many new installed friends have 512MB and above memory. Such a large memory will naturally make the system run faster, but have you ever thought about it, there is still a way to completely squeeze Dry "memory potential? That is - create a virtual disk with memory space!
We use the virtual disk function provided by Tweak XP as an example: After downloading the trial version of Tweak XP from http://www.totalidea.com/, install and run the software, enter the software interface, on the left In the navigation panel, select "RAM Disk Driver" under "System Performance". Then first set the size of the memory virtual disk under the right window "Ram Drive Setting". Generally, the maximum memory virtual disk allowed by the computer with 384MB memory is 256MB, you can set it as appropriate. Then specify a drive letter, such as U, for the memory virtual disk under "Choose a Drive-Letter for your RAM Disk Drive." Now click the "Install Ram Drive" button, the program will automatically guide the user to install the memory virtual disk, after the installation is complete, you need to restart the computer to take effect.
Note: After installing the memory virtual disk, you will want to change the capacity and drive letter of the memory virtual disk later. Just click the “Apply Setting” button on the right side after setting, as shown in the figure.

Figure 1 Now, we point the IE cache, TEMP and other temporary folders to the partition, you can clearly feel the speed of the system is faster! However, it should be noted that since it is a virtual disk built in the memory, its data will not be saved to the real hard disk, and the data inside will be lost when the computer is turned off!
