Clever use of win2008 mission planning function

In the Windows system, the mission plan has always been used, but it has not been taken seriously. Fortunately, under the Windows 2008 system, this feature has been significantly enhanced, and has been used effectively, together to see how the Windows 2008 system cleverly uses the mission plan.

1. Timed backup of important data

With the gradual advancement of the informationization process and the continuous popularization of information technology, the dependence of various units on the LAN network is also increasing. Data information stored in a LAN server is also becoming more and more important. In order to prevent accidents and lead to the loss of important data, more and more units have begun to pay attention to the security protection of data information. The most commonly used method to protect data security is to do a good job of backing up data in time, so the Windows Server 2008 system deliberately The data backup function has been enhanced, and the backup function in the system environment is skillfully used. We can enjoy professional level data protection wonderful! However, backing up important data is a cumbersome operation, and users often forget to perform backup operations on a regular basis for some reason. So how can I perform automatic scheduled backup of important data? In fact, in the Windows Server 2008 system environment, we can skillfully use the enhanced task scheduler to implement the regular backup function of important data. The following are the specific implementation steps:

First open the Windows Server 2008 system. ; Start & rdquo; menu, from which click on the "Programs" //ldquo; Attachments & rdquo; /& ldquo; System Tools & rdquo; /& ldquo; Task Scheduler & rdquo; command, enter the Windows Server 2008 system task scheduler window, single Click the "Task Scheduler Library" option in the list area on the left, click the "New Folder" option in the "Actions" list in the list area to the right of the corresponding option, and then follow the prompts. Set the name of the new folder to “Smart Backup” and click the “OK” button to return;

Next, use the mouse to expand the “Task Scheduler Library” option in the left list area. And select the <quo;smart backup" subkey under this option, click “create in the right list area corresponding to the subkey Open the Create Task Settings dialog box; click the “General” tab in the dialog box and enter the name of the target task in the "Name" text box on the corresponding tab page, for example, enter here. Yes, “smart backup”, the remaining parameters in the tab page can be kept at default;

Then click on the “Trigger” tab, and click on the tab settings page that pops up. Click the New button to open the New Trigger dialog box as shown in Figure 1. In the “Start Task” dialog box of the dialog box, select the “Development Plan” option and adjust the frequency parameter of the task execution to “ldquo; Every day, in the default state, the Windows Server 2008 system starts from the moment the task plan is created. We may try to set the specific start time of the task plan execution according to the actual work requirements. For example, we can set the start time to & ldquo;2008/8/8 20:00:00” (the opening moment of the Beijing Olympics); finally, click on the "New Trigger dialog box" ; Determining & rdquo; button to return to create a task setting interface;

Then click & ldquo; operation & rdquo; tags, in the corresponding label settings page, click & ldquo; New & rdquo; button in the subsequent pop-up In the dialog box, click the drop-down button at “action" and select the "Start Program" option from the drop-down list, and then click the "Browse" button to open the file selection dialog, which will be created before. The script file used to back up important data information is selected and imported, and finally click on the “OK” button, so that we can easily implement intelligent backup operations on important data.

Tip: Using the Windows Server 2008 system's task scheduler, we can fully back up Windows Server 2008 systems to network shares. In this backup operation, we need to first create a backup to network share operation task through the Windows Server Backup function that comes with Windows Server 2008 system; then follow the previous steps to open the task scheduler of Windows Server 2008 system. In the window, click the “Create Basic Task” option in the list area on the right, and then set the name, start time, and start date of the new task according to the prompts in the wizard window, and then select “&ldquo in the interface shown in Figure 2”. ;start the program” option, and enter the detailed path of the Wbadmin.exe command directly in the "Programs or Scripts" box. X:\\windows\\system32\\Wbadmin.exe” (where X is the disk partition where the Windows system is located) Symbol), click the “Complete” button to exit the task plan setting window, so that the Windows Server 2008 system will be intelligently backed up to the network share at the specified time.

2, a flexible system shutdown

every day after work, we often need to turn click on the & ldquo; start & rdquo; /& ldquo; off & rdquo; /& ldquo; off & rdquo; option In order to shut down the computer system, it is obviously a bit cumbersome to shut down the computer system! Now, we can use the task scheduler of Windows Server 2008 system to achieve flexible system shutdown! Maybe some friends will say that such a shutdown operation is too simple, just open the task scheduler window of Windows Server 2008 system, create a new task in it, and let the task execute the string at the specified time and the specified date. The command "shutdown.exe -s”" can be used to intelligently shut down the computer system operation. However, if one day encounters a special situation, Windows Server 2008 system starts the system shutdown function and we suddenly remember that there are still things to be processed. At this time, we want to prevent the system from executing by executing the string command <;shutdown.exe -a” When shutting down, it may be a little too late; now, we can use the Windows Server 2008 system's task scheduler and create a suitable script to achieve a flexible system shutdown:

First run the Notepad program. In the pop-up text editor window, enter the following command line code:

@echo off

shutdown -s -t 60

echo Any key to exit the system shutdown operation ……

echo ……

pause

shutdown -a

where “shutdown -s - t 60” The command code indicates that the system will be automatically shut down within 1 minute. At this time, we can flexibly set according to the actual work needs. “Shutdown -a” command code indicates strong resistance. The system performs the shutdown operation, but the operation requires us to press any key on the keyboard to be automatically executed; after confirming that the above command line code is entered correctly, click the <quo;file”/“ ” command, save the above code content in the pop-up file save dialog box as "shutdown.bat";

Secondly open the Windows Server 2008 system "start" menu, from which point Select the "Programs" ">;Accessories"/“System Tools”/“Task Scheduler” command to enter the Task Scheduler window of the Windows Server 2008 system, click on “ in the list area on the left The Task Scheduler Library option, click the “Create Basic Task” option in the list area to the right of the corresponding option to enter the Task Plan Creation Wizard window. When the wizard interface prompts us what we want the task to do, we You can select the "Start Program" option in the interface shown in Figure 3, and then click “Next” Button, then click the “Browse” button to select and add the batch file that was created before;
