Specify File List

From the <quo;Tools" menu, select “Find Duplicate", and the "Duplicate Finder> Wizard window will pop up, click &ldquo ; Add folder & rdquo; button, specify the target folder, it is recommended to check the "Include subfolders" check box at the same time, it should be noted that here must be selected "to find duplicates between these files and another list" ”, click the “Next” button to continue adding the second folder.

Specify search parameters

By default, ACDSee will automatically search for duplicate files with the same file name, and only find duplicate image files, which naturally does not meet the needs of the work. Please select “completely repeat (the exact same file)" here, and do not select the "Find image only" checkbox.

Handling Duplicates

Click the “Next” button, and after a while, you will see duplicate search results, where “(2 found)” indicates a file The number of repetitions, select an item in the list, you can view the original path where the duplicate document is located in the list box below, and then further confirm the file name, file size and other aspects.

The next step is much simpler. Just choose to delete files from a list. ACDSee will automatically delete the duplicate files under the corresponding list according to the user's wishes. Of course, you can also select “ Customize the way you manually tag, click the “Next” button, ACDSee will display the selected markup document, and once again confirm, you can quickly clean up the unwanted duplicate documents.
