How to bind multiple IPs and multiple domain names (IIS)

for Windows

This article describes common methods for binding multiple IPs and multiple domain names for Windows hosts. Multi-IP and multi-domain configuration are often used in stand-alone hosts and virtual private On the server (VPS), according to some SEO big names, independent IP can give domain names a higher weight, so many users who purchase VPS mostly buy and assign different IP addresses to the domain name of the same host. Of course, the host is not necessarily a Windows system. This article only talks about the configuration method on Windows. Other systems will be introduced later.

Note: The single-NIC binding multi-IP and multi-domain binding method described in this article is not the only way, such as multi-NIC binding, software binding, virtual binding, etc. More, because the concept of binding itself is virtual, you only need to ensure that "someone receives the visitor and leads to the specified directory"; it is a binding, as to how the process does not do the visitor.

First, bind multiple IPs for Windows host

2. In the Local Area Connection Properties window, click “Properties”.

3. Find the Internet Protocol version (TCP/IPv4) in the list of current network card usage items, and click the “Properties” button below.

4. Select the specified IP address

If DHCP is dynamically assigned address, you cannot specify multiple IP addresses here, so you need to close the automatic IP address, first Specify the primary IP address (example 192.168.1.100 here), subnet mask, and default gateway.
