Open c:\\users Directory, you can see that the "public" folder has been shared. 3. On Windows Server 2008, access the 10.7.10.102 shared folder and you can see the shared folder “public”. 4. If your computer is in an Internet cafe or other public location, you should not let other computers access your shared folders and other shared resources. You need to set the network location to “public". Visible network location allows you to quickly switch network security configurations. 5.
