A simple solution to the problem that the firewall can not be started

With the development of network technology, the Internet has entered thousands of households. Therefore, the security of the network will become the most concerned issue. Currently, a more effective way to protect internal networks from external intrusions is firewall technology. There are a lot of netizens who ask what is a firewall?
In fact, a firewall is a system or a group of systems that enforce access control policies between networks. The actual way of real firewalls is different, but in principle, firewalls can be considered as such a pair of mechanisms. To be fair, firewalls are a bastion to protect computer operating systems, which can keep viruses out of thousands of miles. However, users often find that Windows Firewall cannot be started. This system brings a lot of security risks. The following small series will give users some solutions about Windows Firewall failing to start.
1. Firewall configuration error
Start-->Run-->gpedit.msc
The group policy is opened at this time
The left-level hierarchical expansion
Computer configuration-->Management Template-->Network-->Network Connection-->Windows Firewall
Then here are some options for group policy enforcement restrictions
Find the configuration definition you need to enable and then set back to " Not configured " OK
(some software changes to the registry, sometimes not displayed in the group policy, may be changed in the group policy is still unconfigured, so configure it, then configure it back)
Second, the security center is closed
The firewall enabled option becomes grayed out, can not be enabled, and with the prompt " Due to security considerations, some settings are controlled by Group Policy"
Run services.msc open "Services" ;
Set Security Center to automatic and enabled.
Set Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to Auto and Enable.
Set the Application Layer Gateway Service to automatic and enabled.
If you still can't enable the firewall, perform the following steps:
Run regedit.exe to open the registry, delete the following two items:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\ SOFTWARE \\ Policies \\ Microsoft \\ WindowsFirewall
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \\ SOFTWARE \\ Policies \\ Microsoft \\ WindowsFirewall
(at least one can be found)
Restart Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) in the service
If you continue to prompt " Certain settings are controlled by Group Policy for security reasons" Will not affect the use.
