Win8/WP8 interactive interface will change greatly

Computer Store News: The tile modules in Windows8 and Windows Phone system form a very interesting and practical interface. These tiles use atypical row and column arrangement and have different sizes of icons. The traditional smartphone interface has a big difference. However, Microsoft's magnetic interface also has some shortcomings, that is, the number of icons that can be arranged on the same screen is very limited. Whether it is Windows 8 or Windows Phone system, it seems that quite a few users have this problem.

Although Microsoft has let the start button return to Windows, there is still no good ending in Windows Phone. However, according to a patent passed by Microsoft, it has brought a good solution and is very likely to be applied to the actual product.

According to the patent description file, Microsoft's new Windows Phone operating system user interface uses a 3D stereo interface. From the patent introduction picture, we can see that the new patent breaks the planar function of the traditional Windows Phone system tile, so that the cube is used instead of the dynamic tile, and each side of each cube can achieve different functions. The user only needs to rotate the cube by gesture to achieve the corresponding function. Even features like the tile folder can be displayed directly on one side of the cube.

Considering that the current Microsoft concept is only at the patent stage, it is uncertain when it will be applied to the system in the future. However, from the picture of the patent, it does have great operability. In the face of some aesthetic fatigue Windows Phone tile interface, should Microsoft further reform its visual and functional aspects?
