Retrieving the Windows 8.1 Experience Index

Computer Store News: We have noticed before that the Windows 8.1 preview has cancelled the Windows Experience Index and can no longer display the computer configuration as the previous Windows version. However, careful netizens found that Microsoft did not completely remove the Windows 8.1 experience index, but just “hidden” it.

In fact, the Windows Experience Index is a system tool called WinSAT (Windows System Assessment Tool). If Microsoft removes it completely, it can't find any WinSAT related system. Resources. But the truth is the opposite. In the Windows\\Performance folder, some resources for WinSAT are still there.

Then, run CMD as an administrator, enter the winsat -help command, and the relevant command line usage appears. The first formal command is to run a complete evaluation. If you want to check the evaluation of the system, just use the winsat formal command to view the evaluation results in XML format in the Windows\\Performance\\WinSAT\\DataStore directory.

Of course, for convenience, you can also create a shortcut on the desktop, the location is as follows: %SystemRoot%\\explorer.exe /E,::{ED228FDF-9EA8-4870-83b1-96b02CFE0D52}. This way you can see the system experience index by clicking on the shortcut directly.
