Win8 IE10's new performance in JavaScript

. In a recent blog post, Microsoft introduced the new features of IE 10 in JavaScript - this time, IE10 enabled the revised JavaScript engine Chakra (this engine started in IE9). The research team considered that most of the websites are still written in JavaScript, so they evaluated and tested a large number of JavaScript sites and some popular games.


In this blog post, they also mentioned some high-tech improvements to JavaScript. This includes the addition of 64-bit and ARM support to the Chakra Just-In-Time compiler, and improvements to the floating-point math functions and enhancements to IE 10's memory allocator and garbage collection. Microsoft said that this adjustment they made will give IE 10 significant performance gains in JavaScript applications, especially games and simulators written in HTML5.
