Windows: Cancel Disk Capacity Warning

When the Windows XP operating system was released, what Microsoft has been trying to do is to find ways to make it foolish - adding a variety of ring tones and whistles to alert users to various Trouble with trouble. One of them is the Low Disk Space Notification. Although it was originally useful, it would be annoying in the vast majority of cases. Here's how to disable this warning.

First of all, why is this warning?

name suggests, disk capacity shortage prompts warning system is used to notify users when hard disk capacity is about used up. Especially for the main system drive, this is very important to avoid data loss caused by disk fullness. If this happens while the user's main system drive is working, it will cause the system swap file space to overflow. This in turn causes the system to fail to load the program properly or to quit the program. Running out of free disk space can cause system crashes and data loss.

With the reduction of free disk space, Windows XP will be more and more annoying. When the available disk space is less than 200MB, Windows XP will alert you each time it starts. If the available disk space is less than 80MB, XP will notify you every four hours until the available disk space exceeds 80MB. Once less than 50MB, XP will bother you every 5 minutes until the situation is eliminated.

If you have a separate set of user data disk drive on their workstations, and to the importance of preventing overflow of disk space for the user has been described so often warned of insufficient capacity will be greatly reduced efficiency. Users do not necessarily need to be repeatedly reminded by the operating system when they already know that there is little space. At the same time, frequent reminders can cause a dramatic deterioration in system performance on systems where the system configuration is close to or in a minimal configuration. Because XP will take time to check for free disks, and these times should be used to complete other tasks.
