Implementation principle Using the task plan in the Windows operating system, it automatically detects whether the user is using the computer. If the user does not use the computer within a certain period of time, the shutdown command is automatically called to shut down the computer. If someone else wants to use a computer, they must know the "power-on password" set in BiOS.

Implementation method

Step 1 Right click on the desktop, select “Create Shortcut” from the pop-up context menu, and then enter in the “Create Shortcut” dialog box that pops up. command. If the operating system you are using is Windows 98, type "rundll32.exe user.exe, exitWindows"; if your operating system is Windows 2000/XP/2003, type "shutdown.exe -s -f -t 10 -c" 'The owner is not there, it will be shut down'". Name this shortcut "ShutdownComputer" in the next naming dialog.

Step 2 Click “Start → All Programs → Accessories → System Tools → Task Schedule” to open the “Task Schedule” window and drag the shortcut on the desktop to the “Task Schedule” window.

Step 3 Double-click the "ShutdownComputer" shortcut in the "Task Schedule" window, click the "Schedule" tab in the pop-up window, click the "Scheduled Task" drop-down list box, select " When idle, in the time when the computer idle time exceeds XX minutes, change the time interval to the interval you think is appropriate, such as 25 minutes, as shown in the figure. It is recommended to set the time interval to 15~30 minutes because of the set time. Too short, repeated switching opportunities affect the life of the computer. If the setting time is too long, the purpose of protecting our system will not be achieved.

Step 4 Click the “Settings” tab to clear the check boxes in front of all dialog boxes. , click the "OK" button.
