Uninstalling OICQ causes online banking to fail to connect

A user of the corporate online bank called and said that his online banking could not be connected. The prompt was "WINDOWS could not find TBrowser.exe. This program is used to open files of HTML Document type". WINDOWS can not find the TBrowser.exe program, which is basically the file in the online banking client program, it must be the client installed the program itself. After asking the customer, they learned that they had installed the OICQ chat program a few days ago and later deleted OICQ. It turns out that OICQ installed its own browser Tencent Explorer as the default browser during installation. After deleting OICQ, HTML, HTM, URL and other files are still associated with it, so users cannot connect to online banking.

Found the reason, the solution is also found, by modifying the file association to make HTML, HTM, URL and other files associated with IE.

1. Open the "Folder Options" in the "Explorer Tools" and click on "File Type", and look for the file with the extension "HTM" in "Registered File Types". Select the HTM file, and then click "Advanced" to find that its default open mode is changed to "TencentExplorer", select "TencentExplorer" and then delete it, then select Open with IE and set it to the default value.

2. If you only made the first step, you will not be able to open "http://202.99.30.218/icbc/corporbank/logon.jsp" when you log in to online banking. So you have to find the file type "URL: File Transfer Protocol" and "URL: Hypertext Transfer Protocol" in the folder option /file type /registered file type", and associate it with the original "TencentExplorer" Change to IE and set it to the default value.

After the modification is completed, you can log in to the online bank smoothly.
