Let Windows 7 also support "hibernation"

Are you worried that the computer is using electricity too fast? Are you worried about the data not saved? Are you wondering how the win7 system does not support "sleep" function? Don't worry, don't worry, in fact, under the windows7 system also supports "sleep", let us find "sleep".

Disappearing "Sleep"

As shown below, you can't find hibernation in the "Shutdown" submenu of the "Start" menu.

"Getting back"

I remember when I was in the XP era, it was in "Power Management". . However, no related settings were found.

Looking for the information, I quickly found a solution:

Enter:

powercfg -h on

Or type in the command line:

powercfg.exe /hibernate on

Note: Execute this command Requires administrator privileges.

 Hibernate&#

Still not coming back? See if “mixed sleep” is being opened

If you have not executed the above command, open

Control Panel → Hardware and Sound & Rarr; Power Options, and then click “Change Plan Settings&

Open “Change Advanced Power Settings&

Check “Hybrid Sleep“ is not turned on It is. If it is open, close it

Sure enough, I am here "open”.

Set to “Close & rdquo; and then click the "OK" button.

Let's go and see, this "sleep" button should come out.

Let the "hibernate" button disappear

You can also guess from that command, that is, change on to off:

powercfg. Exe /hibernate on

Sleep, hibernate, mixed sleep concept

Sleep: Cut off the power of other devices except the memory, the data is still in memory. A small amount of battery is needed to maintain the memory power. Once the power is turned off, the data in the memory is lost, and the next time the power is turned on, it is restarted.

Hibernate: Write memory data to the hard disk and then cut off power to all devices. No longer need a power supply.

Hybird Sleep: Writes memory data to the hard disk and then cuts off power to all devices except memory. It avoids the loss of data in the memory once the power is turned off. The next time you turn it on, it is recovered from hibernation.

In this way, it's easy, so you can "hibernate" under win7 system, no power, no power supply, learn quickly, don't miss it.
